In Search of Darkness

It is Autumn and October already, it's time for my last marathon of 31 horror blog posts at Flok Factory.

An exploration of 80's horror movies through the perspective of the actors, directors, producers and SFX crafts people who made them, and their impact on contemporary cinema.

In Search of Darkness is a massive horror documentary with a large cast of well known directors, actors, artists, horror icons, influencers and so on involved, giving their opinion on the decade on it’s own, what horror means, and going deep into the details as the subject changes between numerous impactful horror movies involved per year, and other relevant topics in-between.

For a hardcore horror fan like me, this was so much fun to watch, to see them discuss the movies chronologically again with a visually appeasing presentation, and talking trivia and great details, all in the name of celebrating horror.

This is a great introduction towards 80's movie horrors, and pretty much highlights all of the important ones between each year, from 1980 to 1989. From the most influential, to the most successful, gory and scary, you will find it all with In Search of Darkness!
