Outlast 2

In this sequel, the mad men have turned into a fanatical religious cult, and as there are much more of them than before, you are almost entirely escaping from them in creative pursuit courses where you run through open fields, barns, houses, caves and more, while you cannot defend yourself in any way.

The night vision camera returns and the story is very cliché, and it’s a fairly long horror journey too with psychological effects, gore and jump scares. But the enemy models are still ugly and simply not scary, plus getting chased all the time can get annoying as there are so many enemies and some trial and error moments.

Stealth sections aren’t interesting either, as you can only avoid, plus I still find the hiding mechanic to be useless. Outlast 2 might be better in some ways, for me, I just wanted to get over with the game and quickly move on, as the game can get pretty repetitive in this chase simulator.
