Get Out

Chris visits his girlfriend Rose´s family at a private estate, and circumstances do not seem to be normal during the course of stay.

Racism is a subtle theme playing, as most white characters bluntly, passive aggressively or with humor throw it at Chris's face, who is black. As he tours the home, he also is introduced to a black housekeeper and groundskeeper, who act strange.

As he gets hypnotized by Rose's mother, he is thrown into a dark world of body and mind experiments, while there is social commentary to be found.

Get Out is a horror mystery which got critical and commercial attention for it´s way to draw the audience in with it´s characters, the uncomfortable setting and the clever way of using racism as a prejudiced and horror theme, as well as the motivation for the plot twist being quite creepy, maintaining youth and healthy biology.

Get Out is a rare original, satirical, successful and modern horror thriller which begs to get seen! The climax is also satisfying with the way people end with demise.
