Ju-On the Grudge: Haunted House Simulator

The title of this adaptation says it all. This game has a plethora of jumpscares awaiting you, which can be effective and entertaining, but ultimately the controls and the graphics of it are so piss poor that it lowers the overall quality considerably.

With a pacing equivalent towards almost moving around as a turtle or a snail, of course I understand that it's supposed to simulate fear, but when you consider that the game is quite long for it's premise, it doesn't make for a good combination.

It's based on the various Ju-On the Grudge movies from Japan where a ghostly woman with long hair and a ghostly child will continue to stalk and haunt your ass around several settings such as an abandoned factory.

There's really not much else towards this. There is a lack of replay value, a lack of writing or direction, a lack of quality(except for some of the scares) and it's not aware that the gamer playing can be intelligent, meaning that it's a very linear and simple designed game.

Not recommended.
