Expansion DLC where you play as Plague Knight who has his own moveset, skills and story to tell in this wonderful 8 bit rendered world. Plague of Shadows re-uses assets of course, but level design has been altered and the Order of No Quarter remains a fine alignment.
In addition towards the presence of Specter and Plague Knight, I feel that Shovel Knight has enough horror elements with a nod towards Castlevania to be included for this horrific october month. Or maybe I am running out of ideas, haha!
What else can I say? Anyone who grew up with the NES will love this, and I wonder what Yacht Club Games will develop next. A straight sequel, more DLC, or a new IP?
Also, special kudos for those dance animations at the ending, they looked terrific and made Plague Knight and his special one more memorable.
