12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos
For years, I have followed famous celebrity based scientists, especially through the available YouTube videos where they discuss about all kinds such as morality, philosophy, religion, biology and technology.
This year, a new face piqued the interest of many; Jordan B. Peterson, a Canadian clinical psychologist, who first got noticed by me for criticizing political correctness, the extreme left, gender identity and those who play as victims.
His charming appearance and intellectual yet refreshing talks about using psychology, his clinical work and being structurally and cognitively oriented, seeing useful meaning and value in the systems who surround humanity, made him become viral and a new knowledge source.
Inspiring teenagers, young adults and parents, he then wrote 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos, a guidance book where he points out valuable points to learn and live from, and then goes through extended arguments, thoughts and examples to address why they matter.
Mythology, psychology, religious and personal anecdotes are used in conjunction with the outlined rules in order to shape up this worldview, while morality, analogies and pop culture as references keep you reading.
The pursuit for happiness is an important overall message, as lessening Chaos and all of it's interpretations is a good way to improve your life, your consciousness, your mentality, your social network and your environment.
12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos is a thought provoking self-help book that lets you reflect, feel valuable, and learn from the orderly and chaotic sides with all of their countless faces. Life is suffering and rewarding.
