A fan-game based on the most popular horror movie icons from the 70's, the 80's and the 90's, Terrordrome: Rise of the Boogeymen is an arcade based fighter.
With online multiplayer available, it plays and feels like Mortal Kombat, with special moves, throws, blocks, running, jumping and even an evade button intact. There is a versus and a story mode, which lets you fight all of the characters, while presenting a small plot during the beginning and the ending.
Pretty much all of the iconic horror figures are featured, including Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, Leatherface, Chucky and my favorite of the bunch, Pinhead. I was surprised to see some others such as Ash also make an appearance.
It's your average and standard 2D fighter, and in just about an hour, I lost the interest. But if you are a fan of these villains representing their franchises, Terrordome is a fun little time to try out, and then be on your way.
